Rania (11) and her family just immigrated from Honduras and had no insurance.  The other day in gym class, another student accidentally broke her glasses but the family could not afford to replace them.  She has been falling behind in class ever since.  Alice’s Kids paid for new glasses.  

“Rania is doing so much better academically and this caused positive waves for her.  She is now happier to be at school, has missed fewer days and is more engaged in school overall. It was wonderful to see her self-esteem shift positively with being able to see again!
